Semarchy and Experian

Does Semarchy support Experian as a data source for enrichment?

Best Answer

Yes, 3rd party data cleansing tools can be incorporated into xDM’s functionality or they can be used to prepare the data before load time into the xDM landing tables. For certain services, including Google Maps geocoding service and Melissa Global Address Verification and Personator services, we provide out-of-the-box connectors (enrichers) that allow you to send your source data to be cleansed and standardized by these services. For other services, it is possible to create a custom plug-in using the xDM Java-based enricher platform. Some Semarchy customers have successfully built such plugins to connect to data cleansing tools. Finally, if the data cleansing tools support REST API connections, xDM allows REST enrichers which can call a REST endpoint. This is a powerful capability that allows you to integrate with other data cleansing tools as well as many other data services.

There is no built in plug-in for Experian but a custom plug-in can be developed.

I think that Hilaire developed such a one quite a few years ago for a French customer.
