xDM 2025.1.9 LTS is available!

We have released today on semarchy.com this patch for Semarchy xDM 2025.1 LTS.
You can read the release notes (2025.1.9) for the public list of issues.

New features

  • DM-952: The xdm_server_url helper procedure now provides the appropriate public or PrivateLink ingress URL for the Semarchy Native App on Snowflake, making it easier to access the application and configure related tools, especially in restricted or PrivateLink-only environments.
  • DM-638: Workflow design has been optimized to reduce memory usage. Workflow components referenced multiple times within the same workflow definition are now loaded once via a catalog of resolved references, which prevents redundant loading and improves both performance and heap space usage.

Bug fixes

  • DM-968: Data-driven workflows allow selecting existing and newly added child records for deletion, which causes a blocking dataSetChanges is incompatible with targetDataSet error during data submission.
  • DM-939: Deploying the Semarchy Native App on Snowflake outside the AWS US West region results in an invalid external access URL.
  • DM-935: The Semarchy AI few-shot classification enricher relies on a fixed Hugging Face API URL from the underlying bundle, so users cannot override the endpoint and must wait for a bundle update when the API changes.
  • DM-926: Querying xDM repository tables through a Snowflake datasource in the Dashboard Builder results in a security violation and blocks read-only access.
  • DM-890: Long-running validations in steppers result in inconsistent behavior, including blocked navigation, unexpected server errors, and validation bypass, depending on whether they are configured as warnings or blocks.
  • DM-888: In Snowflake environments, the SemQL editor shows missing or untranslated labels for certain predefined SemQL functions, and a MissingResourceException message is logged.
  • DM-776: When browsing erroneous records on Snowflake data locations, error count badges do not appear, and attempting to open the corresponding error view triggers an Unexpected server error message.
  • DM-624: Third-party library upgrade: Project Reactor Netty HTTP.
  • DM-573: Model validation fails when processing large numbers of data-driven workflows. The validation process does not terminate, consumes all available Java heap space, and causes the application server to crash.
The Docker image and the Cloud releases will be updated to this version in the following days.
