Is there any possibility to configure a simple authentication (user/psw) for a xDI web service directly in the designer (metadata, process or other), and not on the runtime?
Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no way to configure it on the Designer /metadata.
The password should be configured in the runtime engineParameters.xml file in the security section.
You can create a dedicated user with Execute-Api role
