I m unable to change location directory of .gitconfig file. How to change it? because this is not the right one.

Designer's Git features come from the Eclipse "Egit" plugin.

The documentation of the latter seems to indicate that this location is determined automatically, and that you can customize it by modifying the environment variable HOME, at the level of the windows user session.

I invite you to consult this information and modify the HOME variable of your environment to see if it brings the expected result.
