How to exclude a field from global search configuration

Hi,

We have 50 fields in an Entity.

We want to configure a global search for 48 fields excluding 'NOTES' and 'DESCRIPTION' fields.

Can you please suggest how we can do that?

Hi Kousik


You will need a Custom Search Form.

In the Search Parameters you would include only the fields that you want to be searchable.

Configure a suitable SemQL search condition.


Set up a new business view for this entity and configure it  with the Search Configuration available only with the Search Method of your Custom Search Form.


Add this BV to your Global Search Configuration
