Designer won't start on macOS High Sierra Print

Symptom

After downloading the Designer from Stambia.org and installing it, the Stambia application won't start.

A macOS popup appears with an error like "Stambia quit unexpectedly" (en français "Stambia a quitté de manière imprévue").

MacOS High Sierra applies specific security policies to Applications downloaded from the Internet.

Possible workarounds include :

- transfer the Designer's zip archive to an FTP server and download it again with FTP => it will suddenly work

- start the Designer from the command line : stambia.app/Contents/MacOS/stambia

- download the zip from stambia.org using Windows or Linux, and then copy the zip to macOS through your local network or a USB key

Note: other macOS versions don't seem to apply this strange locking policy, but in case you observe it please inform our Support Team.
