Hello Rohan,
As of today (oct 2025), the tooling for the migration of the platform configuration (REST clients, custom translations, image libraries, ...) is not ready yet, and the configurations must be recreated in SDP.
We plan to release appropriate tooling for that purpose in the near future.
You can achieve that with the REST API, with minimal changes if you reuse the calls from xDM, or the platform CLI.
Feel free to reach out to the support if you face any issues using the REST API or the CLI.
Thanks,
Guillaume.
Hi Guillaume,
How about the data model and all the components in application builder along other components such as Workflow Builder, Dashboard Builder etc
Thanks
Hello,
The model can't be migrated as is from one schema to the other, it needs to be redeployed. Therefore, the model needs to be rewritten in multiple seml files (compatible with the new design experience).
The VS Code extension allows you to automatically create seml files based on an export of the model in XML format. Please note that for now, it is experimental, and some parts of the model are not transcribed.
The workflow edition will be done through the extension and the seml files.
The dashboard builder is present in SDP. You can export a dashboard in xDM and import it SDP.
Thanks
Hello Guillaume,
Is there any documentation that explains how to automatically generate SEML files from an XML-exported model?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Hello,
From the VS Code extension : right click on the XML file > semarchy > Convert the XML into a workspace folder.
The documentation is available in the section Guides > Set up and manage a data model > Convert a Semarchy xDM data model.
https://docs.semarchy.com/saas/guides/design/modeling/convert-xml-model

Is it possible to migrate configurations and setup from xDM to SDP directly?
