This article explains how to upgrade the Designer to version 5.3.x.
The procedure depends on the version from which the upgrade is performed.
Upgrade the Designer from version S20 to 5.3
To upgrade the Designer from S20 to 5.3, refer to Upgrade the Designer.
Upgrade the Designer from version S17, S18 or S19 to 5.3
To upgrade the Designer from versions S17, S18 or S19 to version 5.3.x:
- Install version 5.3.x.
- Follow the upgrade steps of all the major intermediate versions in addition to the upgrade steps of version 5.3.x.
For example, when upgrading from S19 to 5.3.x, install version 5.3.x and follow the upgrade steps of S19 to S20 in addition to S20 to 5.3.
