We often get asked about the application servers upon which Semarchy will run, and which are supported.
Apache Tomcat is certified. This means that we test each Semarchy xDM release with the certified versions of Tomcat (as listed in the Installation Guide), and we are committed to fixing any compatibility issues. Our Support team is very familiar with Tomcat and can offer strong support. The overwhelming majority of Semarchy customers use Tomcat, so it is our recommended choice.
For other application servers: Semarchy xDM is a JEE7 web application and can be installed on a J2EE-compliant application server, including those listed in the Installation Guide. We expect our customers to provide their own expertise to support these application servers. Of course, our Support team will still offer full support for the Semarchy xDM application.
