Does xDM on Kubernetes support more replicas?

I have installed xDM into an AKS cluster according to the documentation:

As per the example Deployment manifest files (semarchy-appserver-active.yaml and semarchy-appserver-passive.yaml) ; two replicas of the Passive pod and one replica of the Active pod are deployed. It is unclear at this time if Semarchy xDM supports any other topology (can we have more than one replica of active?; can we have more that two replicas of passive?)

you can have as many passive replicas as needed, while only one active pod can run at the same time.
